[Laura at the USGS Booth] Our annual USGS booth at the 2001 Rivers Festival at Fort Mason in San Francisco was a big success! The Festival is put on by Friends of the River, the California statewide river conservation organization. We had over 300 visitors at the booth on Saturday, and over 100 on Sunday.

Seen above is our booth, on Sunday, with Laura and Rex. Rex really did enjoy himself, but Laura was learning how to use his digital camera and forgot to tell him to "say cheese!"
