To facilitate the computation of cross section areas we have included an interactive tool developed for our bathymetry analysis of San Francisco Bay web site. See zTool Documentation for a complete description of zTools capabilities and use.

Due to the high resolution of the Delta Bathymetry data set (~100 million cells) and the code limitations it is necessary to select an a subset of the Delta before defining a profile. From the map below, select the area of interest and an enlargement of that section will be displayed.
